Dear Family,

I founded ROOTED in 2025 to host an immersive cultural gathering that celebrates the artistry, heritage, and innovation of Black hair. This event brings together stylists, barbers, wellness coaches, designers, and cultural creators for a day of inspiration, education, and empowerment.

My purpose for creating ROOTED is simple yet profound — to bring the community together and share the history of Black hair culture in a way that uplifts, honors, and informs. Through conversation, creativity, and connection, we aim to empower each other to embrace every strand of who we are.

ROOTED is not just an event—it’s a celebration of identity, legacy, and self-expression.
